Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good. Happy Thanksgiving. Okay, its time to sparkle its 6 am and I need some holiday magic get up make those pies and bake some cakes
The pots and pans are cling and the smell of sweet potato pie an, upside down pineapple, Mac and cheese and turkey, salmon in the oven. No matter what your Holiday tradition is enjoy your day.
Cause you tell family members to bring a dish. Only, Lord knows what they may bring. The most important thing is as long as they come . To me, that’s all that matter. Have to watch the Macey Christmas parade while cooking no matter how old your children are. Plus, when it’s over its 12.10pm and half of the day is over. Time for a mental check to see what’s cook and what’s not.
Look around the beautiful dressed table and appreciate all the things you have to be Thankful for. You never know what one might be going through. Family members maybe here from near or far make some new memories and reminisce on some old ones too. Waiting on the last minute ones to bless the food and eat. Laughing and enjoying the smiles on each face. Yes, a Kodak moment . Pull out that cell phone click.
Everyone is stuffed now, Its after dinner . Quality time, watching, “Frosty the Snowman and Charlie Brown Christmas” with your grand babies. Now its time to give out the hugs and make some plates. Before you know it the dishes will be washed. I will curled up on the couch watching, Thursday night football will be on because the Pittsburgh Steelers will be playing. Taste and See that Lord is good.
